Here We Go

I had the idea to create a platform to provide (hopefully) easy to understand information on the complicated natural-resource issues, and also provide information on products as a consumer who wants to do their best in buying good sustainable products. As parents and friends have become interested in making changes I decided to put my idea into this reality.

Because this is 100% a side project for me I haven't been able to test many products. I do recognize, however, that even though I don't have the finances to buy and try an assortment of every category out there, I am privileged in that I can afford to crosswalk to sustainable products as I can. It remains a huge gap that sustainable-living is currently dominated by white-women (including me). This gets to environmental justice issues that can only be addressed through voting, getting involved, and pushing companies to make sustainable products more affordable. As such, there is no judgement on where you are at if you are reading this. I sincerely hope that sustainable products and living are marketed with greater diversity, and at prices to allow for greater inclusion soon.
